Today's episode we're talking about the language that is used in the wellness space to shift the blame for failing systems to you.
I recently listened to a book called : Cultish: The Language of Fanaticism and it had interesting things to say about the language we use around wellness and fitness.
This, along with the fact that we continue to ignore mental health and continue to pretend that it is different from overall health has created a shortage of access to mental health help or understanding of what that even means.
While the world falling apart and the systems being generally shit isn't your fault, you are your responsibility. So, we find the things that are within our control and focus there.
