EP 156 - CHEESE, WINE, AND BREAD: Discovering the Magic of Fermentation in England, Italy, and France
Katie Quinn is a cookbook author and food journalist. Every week she posts food and travel videos to her YouTube channel, QKatie, which has over 5 million views and 38,600 subscribers. Her slogan (and podcast title) is Keep It Quirky because she thinks life, both in the kitchen and out of it, is more enjoyable if you don’t take yourself too seriously. She has appeared on The Today Show, as a contestant on the Food Network's Chopped, and as a judge on Beat Bobby Flay. She attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Katie always considered herself a foodie, but it was a serious accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury that caused her to look at food—and ultimately her entire life—in a different way. Today we will discuss that life changing moment as well as her beautiful new book, CHEESE, WINE, AND BREAD: Discovering the Magic of Fermentation in England, Italy, and France.
