Fit For Golf

Welcome back to the Fit For Golf Podcast. In this episode I am joined by Dr Sasho Mackenzie. Sasho is regarded by many as the world’s leading golf biomechanics researcher. He works as a consultant for many of the worlds top golf coaches and players. He also has an extensive background as a strength and conditioning coach and plays to a +2 hcp himself.

The main topic of discussion was how wrist angles in the golf swing influence club head speed. We also touched on hand speed, should golfers spend time isolating grip strength in their training, and how Overload & Overspeed training with The Stack System can play a role in improving your swing mechanics and club head speed.

Sasho was also the guest for episode 13 of this Podcast, and in both episodes he provided a wealth of information.

I hope you enjoy.
