In this episode I catch up with one of the HIQA grads, Nat from Newcastle. Nat went from binge drinking to daily drinking as a way of coping with post natal depression and crippling shyness. We chat about how alcohol impacted her kids and her own self confidence. Suffering from depression and anxiety, alcohol was making her situation worse. At the time of recording Nat is now over 14 months sober, off her medication and learning to love her beautiful self.
We also chat about the lull that can happen around the 12 months mark and how keeping up a daily practice keeps that in check.
