Brian Moylan is the president and founder of the completely fictitious Real Housewives Institute. He is the author of The Housewives: The Real Story of the Real Housewives, and a writer for Vulture.com. His recaps for numerous franchises have been on New York magazine’s culture website Vulture since what seems like the dawn of time. He is also the co-author of Erika Jayne’s best-selling memoire Pretty Mess. His work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Vice, Gawker, Interview Magazine, Time, W, and Men’s Health.
Brian discusses his career, how his job at Gawker set him up to write about Real Housewives, and how despite living across the pond in England he is able to stay on top of American reality shows.
