Kerrie McCallum - "Style is Compelling"

If you’re into food, fashion or looking for a holiday escape, then you need to know Kerrie McCallum.

Starting her career as a journalist, she’s navigated a pathway that has led her from Brisbane to Sydney, and from fashion to food and travel, heading up some of the most influential publications in style.

It’s fitting, with International Women’s Day celebrated yesterday we spend time with a woman who is an award-winning editor and is one of Australia’s most inspiring leaders in journalism.

In 2009 she launched InStyle’s inaugural Women in Style awards to celebrate and pay tribute to Australia’s most inspiring female talent across a range of disciplines.

She’s written for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Madison, covering topics as diverse as health, beauty, fashion, sport, lifestyle and popular culture.

Currently the editorial director of premium food and travel at News Corp, if you’ve picked up a copy of Delicious or read Escape, Australia’s’ No. 1 travel media brand, then you’ve been in touch with Kerrie.
