In Chapter 3 Lightfoot takes a bit of time to heal from his bump from the trolley car. He and Blackie spend some time on the hilltop eating the grass and resting. After about a month Lightfoot heads back to the street where he say the trolley looking for paper with paste. He doesn’t see any but he does see a small girl on the tracks and she doesn’t see the trolley car coming. What can Lightfoot do?
