The Caterpillar is a story about some butterfly eggs that were laid on a cabbage leaf. The butterfly mother asks a caterpillar to take care of them because she cannot but the caterpillar does not know how. The caterpillar asks the smartest animal she knows for help but does not believe everything he tells her until the butterfly eggs hatch and out come the caterpillars.
