The Two Gay Geeks 🏳️‍🌈 have a chat with one of our favoritist people in the world, Gini Koch, author and friend. We had a few glasses of wine and had a chat about what she has been doing as well as a new anthology that she is in and still has a few days left on the Kickstarter; you can find the link below. Gini gives us an update on Kitty’s world and a very exciting announcement we will let you hear from her. As always, it was a genuine pleasure to speak with Gini. Have a listen and we hope you enjoy this as much as we did. © Nancee E. Lewis / Nancee Lewis Photography. About Gini Koch Gini Koch writes the fast, fresh and funny Alien/Katherine “Kitty” Katt series for DAW Books, the Necropolis Enforcement Files series, and the Martian Alliance Chronicles series. “Alien in the House,” Book 7 in her long-running Alien series, won the RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice Award as the Best Futuristic Romance of 2013. As G.J. Koch she writes the Alexander Outland series and she's made the most of multiple personality disorder by writing under a variety of other pen names as well, including Anita Ensal, Jemma Chase, A.E. Stanton, and J.C. Koch. Gini also has short stories featured in a variety of current and upcoming anthologies, writing as Gini Koch, Anita Ensal, and J.C. Koch. Gini can be reached via her website: www.ginikoch.com About Zombies Need Brains Kickstarter ☀☀☀ This project will fund THREE science fiction and fantasy anthologies, titled NOIR, SHATTERING THE GLASS SLIPPER, and BRAVE NEW WORLDS, containing approximately 14 all-original (no reprint) short stories each from established SF&F authors in the field and new voices found through an open call. The books will be edited by David B. Coe & John Zakour (NOIR), Rhondi Salsitz & Crystal Sarakas (SHATTERING THE GLASS SLIPPER), and S.C. Butler & Joshua Palmatier (BRAVE NEW WORLDS). Backers of this project will essentially be generating the base funds needed to produce these three anthologies—including payment for the contributing authors, payment for the cover artist, production costs for producing the anthology, etc. Because of this, the reward levels for the anthologies have been set to more closely resemble the cost of the final product when it goes on sale to the general public. In essence, backers of the project are simply “preordering” the anthologies, although there will be a special mass market Kickstarter edition produced for backers who help fund the project at the paperback level. This special edition will have a limited print run to cover the orders made by the backers and will not be printed again after the Kickstarter print run. After that, there will be a trade paperback edition issued to the general public that will have an unlimited print run.
