Legendary Country Recording Artist Crystal Gayle Talks Collaboration with The Glenn Miller Orchestra

My guest today is Grammy-winning songstress Crystal Gayle the beloved country music icon whose reign in the music business includes 22 No. 1 country hits, four top twenty pop hits, six Gold albums and three certified Platinum, including We Must Believe in Magic which was the first album by a female artist in country music history to reach platinum sales.

Crystal has two CMA awards, four American Music Awards and five Academy of Country Music Awards.

Crystal is also a Grammy Award winner for “Best Female Vocal Performance” thanks to her timeless, international smash hit “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” – a song that she today admits she has never grown tired of singing.

She was awarded with a star on the fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009. She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2017 by her sister and Opry legend the late Loretta Lynn.

She is has a new released single, Sentimental Journey, a collaboration of the Glenn Miller / Doris Day hit with The Glenn Miller Orchestra and marking the 80th Anniversary of Glenn Miller’s Army Air Force Band.
