RCP’S BEVAN SAYS TRUMP REFASHIONED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IN HIS IMAGE: THE GOP IS NOW AMERICA FIRST, NATIONALIST AND POPULIST

RealClearPolitics’ Tom Bevan says Manhattan DA Bragg’s prosecution of President Trump is the continued Democrat weaponization of our politics. Bevan says even Dems admit Bragg’s prosecution would set an awful precedent. Democrats and Republicans view the other literally as existential threats to their way of life but Bevan isn’t convinced we’re headed to civil war or that there will be a final victory of which the other side will never recover. The Democrats are not the FDR party of the working class. Dems are targeting small slices of demographics with a hierarchy of victimhood. It’s all about equity and not about equal opportunity but rather equal outcomes engineered by the government. Bevan says the censorship of the NY Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, the letter signed by 51 Intel officials and the way Twitter, Facebook and social media suppressed the story is a true low point in America’s history. Twenty-thirty years ago every news outlet in America would have tried to get copies of the laptop and validate those emails. It was a disgrace.
