The UK's highest court has ruled that Boris Johnson broke the law when he advised the Queen to suspend parliament in a bombshell unanimous judgement. The court ruled that it was "unlawful, void and of no effect". Supreme Court President Lady Hale said the prorogation was "void and of no effect", adding: "Parliament has not been prorogued."
