True Crime All The Time Unsolved

Thomas Wales

When Thomas Wales was murdered in his Seattle home in 2001, the FBI almost immediately thought that it was a professional hit. Wales was an Assistant United States Attorney who had prosecuted many white-collar criminals. The authorities had to figure out whether it was someone Thomas had prosecuted who pulled off or ordered the hit.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Thomas Wales. The authorities pretty quickly focused in on a pilot who Tom Wales had indicted the year before his murder. And even though over 20 years have passed since the murder, the authorities don't seem to have moved on from their prime suspect. What has come out are rumors of a drug cartel being involved and that the authorities know the identity of the shooter. But to date, they have not held anyone accountable to for the murder of Thomas Wales.
