In episode 15 we featured the disappearance of Chelsea Poorman.
Chelsea, a 24-year-old Cree woman from the Kawacatoose First Nation in Saskatchewan, had just recently moved to Vancouver. After a night of dinner and drinks on September 6th, 2020, she went missing from the Granville Street Entertainment District.
Despite many searches and much media awareness, Chelsea was not found.
Tragically on April 22nd, 2022 a contractor working on the grounds of a west-side mansion discovered human remains that have been identified as Chelsea Poorman.
In this episode, we speak with Chelsea’s mother, Sheila, about the investigation into her daughter’s death and the unanswered questions that remain.
