Shanthi Couldn't Buy Foundation For Her Skin Tone, So She Decided To Do Something

Growing up, Shanthi Murugan remembers not being able to find a foundation that suited her skin tone, and the feelings that came with that. As Shanthi says, makeup should make you feel good. It shouldn't make you feel excluded or invisible. So, when Shanthi started working at Adore Beauty, she decided to do something about it. 

She emailed Adore's founder Kate Morris and pitched her the Global Shades project, a four-year-long project calling for inclusivity in the beauty industry through acquiring all globally available complexion shades.

And now, they're making it happen.
