Chronicles of Life: Stories of Faith and Hope With David Richman

When you learn you have cancer, you may feel like your life has been turned upside down, and there is no hope. But, just as cancer starts affecting your physical health, it can bring up a wide range of emotions you can't quite explain.

But what if it's a family member who gets diagnosed with cancer? Would you know how they feel? How can you show that you genuinely care about them? Today, David Richman shares the idea behind Cycle of Lives. This book chronicles the lives of 15 people affected by cancer, either as patients, doctors, researchers, caregivers, or otherwise. The memoirs will give us a complete view of the human experience as it relates to cancer. David started to form the idea in 2007 when his only sister, June, was in the last few weeks of her battle with cancer.

David also talks about his transformation from an overweight smoker to an ultramarathon athlete. This episode is a story of hope and genuine understanding.
