- "I appreciate the invitation, but I must decline as it's not in line with my current priorities.
Informal:
- "Thanks for inviting me, but I'm gonna have to pass this time."
- "I really appreciate the invitation, but I'm gonna have to sit this one out.â
- "Thanks for thinking of me, but I won't be able to make it this time."
- "I'd love to come, but unfortunately, I can't make it."
- "Thanks for the invite, but I'm gonna have to take a rain check on this one."
