Hey y'all!
Welcome back to 5 Minute science with Aanya! Today is episode 2 and I have got a topic we are all familiar with, viruses. If you aren't living under a rock, you might be aware that we are in the midst of a global pandemic, caused by a deadly virus called Covid-19, or informally called coronavirus. We know that coronavirus is spreading rapidly. Since last October, over 60 million people have been infected by COVID-19. Something that has multiplied so quickly should be living right? Actually, it's yes and no. I had this exact question and as I dug deeper and researched, I found two conflicting theories stating that viruses are living and the other stating the viruses are non-living. The question that inspired today’s episode was if viruses are living or nonliving. What is your opinion?
I hope you enjoyed this episode covering viruses and learned something new from this episode. Stay tuned for next week’s episode, it's going to be epic!
