Time for another episode of our In 40 Minutes series where we curate what we think are the best 40 minutes of music from an underrated band's career ... with headbangers and hard rockers in mind (ie. you won't be hearing many ballads or hits!).
Basically, it's what we'd put on a single vinyl release (being limited to 20 minutes per side) if we were asked to put a Best Of record together to convince the uninitiated long haired miscreant that this band is worth checking out.
This episode is dedicated to the underrated records in the 2000s from ... Ted Nugent.
Damn, nobody expected The Motorcity Madman to be able to issue some of his best records in the 2000s, after he'd reached the fifty year marker on his ticker. But dammit, Shut & Jam is probably within my top eight Nuge whackers of all time ... and Craveman in my top five. No she-it. And, hey, Love Grenade ain't no slouch either, although we're best to forget the recent The Music Made Me Do It misstep.
So throw another log on the campfire and turn it up, turn it up louder than hell ... because you know he won't go away!!!
