Back from sick leave, Eno and Big Al welcome back one of our all-time favorite guests, author Earl Shores. Earl has a new electric football compelation available for the holidays. The Electric Football Wishbook (available from Amazon) is a beautiful color collection of sports game Christmas catalog pages from 1955-88. It's highly recommended by by both Greg and Al.
The second half of the show has ther Jerks debating the Detroit Lions' playoff odds and the hot seat status of head coach Jim Caldwell, Detroit Tigers legends Alan Trammell's and Jack Morris' election into the Baseball Hall of Fame by the Modern Baseball Committee, the slary dump/trade of Ian Kinsler, Tigers GM Al Alila's free agency signings and the possibility of dealing Micheal Fulmer to jumpstart the rebuild.
As always, Eno and Big Al also play The Birthday Game and name their Jerk of the Week!
