Long-time Detroit sports bloggers and podcasters, Greg Eno (aka the man who knows a lot of things about a lot of things), and Big Al Beaton are The Knee Jerks!
This week The Knee Jerks welcome back an old friend who goes back with us to the wild west days of sports blogging in the mid-2000s. Ian Casselberry, now plying his trade at Awful Announcing and The Comeback, joins us to talk all things Detroit Tigers.
The second half of the show focuses on the closures of two iconic Detroit pro sports facilities: Joe Louis Arena and The Palace of Auburn Hills. Despite similar amounts of success from both the Red Wings and Pistons, fans and media are giving far more attention to the demise of The Joe, all but ignoring the far superior Palace.
The guys end a stuffed podcast by discussing the Pistons throwing in the towel on a disappointing season and former Lions linebacker Deandre Levy's claims he was misled by the team as to the severity of his knee injury.
