SURPRISE! We're back with a brand new episode this week and it's a special!
We've teamed up with Glasgow Film Festivals " Welcome To.." strand to bring you a brand new episode! Welcome To, is a programme of films and events, with a focus on Black Scottish films, filmmakers and history. In this episode, we discuss some of the films on offer including 'A Family Called Abrew', and 'Expensive Shit'. We also discuss club aunties, colourism in the film and television industry and paying our service people what they are owed.
The Strand will run from Thursday 4 to Saturday 6 March, and is programmed by Tomiwa Folorunso and Natasha Ruwona.
We also have a number of free tickets and £5 off codes available for BIPOC people, please email tomiwa.folorunso@glasgowfilm.org or natasha.ruwona@glasgowfilm.org. For more info on the Glasow film festival, head over to Glasgowfilm.org for more, and use the hashtag #GFF to get involved.
