James and Adam start a bromance talking about comedians who aren't funny anymore and we all get nostalgically nostalgic about nostalgia. We also talk about aging comedians who still have what it takes to make us laugh, and comedians from the past who have pushed the envelope of social commentary.

Emily talks to Adam and Bryon about comedians from Canada (and how the U.S. steals them for ourselves), and we get into a conversation about comedians from Boston. We also talk about comedians who just ... lose us.

We also talk about the biological and physical reasons for laughing and why we need it for social situations, but laughter can also come at the wrong time, whether we want it or not.

Also, you didn't ask for it, but we all do our best Cosby impressions -- and Adam clearly wins!

Our show takes a very dark turn when we start talking about funeral laughs and how Bryon will have the last laugh when he dies because he's too tall to be buried easily, and Adam may enlist Emily (and her Thriller dance) to help him out at his funeral.

Also, laughing at offensive or jokes about tragedy may mean you're actually more intelligent than those who are offended. Find out what made James so excited he knocks over a bottle of wine. (Thank goodness it was empty!)

And, think you can pass Emily's Twisted Comedy quiz? Expect plenty of word play for the clues. And thanks to Epic Film Guy Nick who was my go-to to make sure the quiz was passable.

We also talk about our fake laughs and how laughter is the best medicine, an adage that Adam came up with, in case you didn't know. And Emily talks about her paranoia about Epic Film Guy Justin not liking her when she isolated his laugh in our crossover episode with them.
