1. Protects you against fluctuations in your energy, time, health and general life circumstances
2. Helps prevent misunderstandings by creating clear expectations and responsibilities
3. Streamlines your marketing
4. Saves you time
5. Reduces your mental load by making decision making easier
6. Puts YOU in control
7. Gives you permission to say no (policies!!).
Neglecting your boundaries can and does lead to burnout.
This episode also touches on different types of boundaries and some ways you can identify if your boundaries are not effective.
