Today we provide a real smorgasbord of sustainability topics. In the first half of the episode, we talk about entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture and food systems, supply chains and fair trade labels on the market. Our guest Jessy Servi Ortiz has a background in business, strategic planning, design, permaculture, and sustainable agriculture. She earned her MBA in 2013 with a focus on sustainable business management. Set out to help businesses with sustainability, she started that path as sustainability manager at Outpost Natural Foods in Milwaukee and is now the Managing Director of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council, an organization supporting Wisconsin Businesses with sustainability strategy. Jessy is also a part of the University of Wisconsin Sustainable Management Advisory Board. Business has the power to transform culture, industry and the planet.
