Getting Personal with Daphne Bugler and Isabella Hobbs

with Tenille Townes

Today we are joined by Tenille Townes, one of the hottest stars in country music right now, who called in to chat to us all the way from Nashville, Tenessee. Born in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, our guest was nominated for her first major award for Female Artist of the Year in the Canadian Country Music Awards at only 17 and has since become one of the genre’s biggest rising stars.

In the past few years our guest has toured with some of the greatest country artists of this generation, opening for Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley, and in 2019 took home four awards at the Canadian Country Music Awards. After years of work, she also released her debut full length album, The Lemonade Stand, earlier this year.

In incredibly exciting news our guest has also been announced as the winner of ACM award for New Female Artist of the Year after Keith Urban surprised her with the news over a Zoom call. On September 16th, as well as receiving her award, she will be joining the iconic artists from Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Gwen Stefani to perform at the awards, which will be broadcast from different venues across Nashville and hosted by Keith Urban.

Today we are getting personal with Tenille Townes.

Thank you so much to Tenille for speaking to us this week. You can follow him on Instagram here and make sure to tune in to her performance at the AMC Awards on September 16th.
