Professor Ana Maria Malik is full Professor at FGV EAESP (Department of General Administration and Human Resources) and an academic elected to the Brazilian Academy of Quality. She graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1978), Master in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation - SP (1983) and Doctor of Medicine (Preventive Medicine) from the University of São Paulo (1991). Currently, she is an ad hoc advisor of several health and management magazines, member of the editorial board - Einstein Magazine, guest professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo, member of the board of Alass - Latin Association for Analysis of Health Systems, and of the Foundation for Patient Safety.
