Meet Lindsay Varty!
Lindsay has represented Hong Kong in rugby at two Asian Games competitions, an Olympic Qualifier and perhaps most notably, the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland. This was Hong Kong's first-ever appearance at a Rugby World Cup. Lindsay is also the author of two books, one about the history of the Hong Kong Rugby 7s and one titled 'Sunset Survivors' which focuses on Hong Kong's fading traditional industries and the people that continue to run them. In this episode we discuss resilience, being a woman in a predominantly male sport, bravery, and pride.
