The two discuss the immigration challenges that recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA), also known as 'DREAMERS,' have faced in the United States. The bill was released yesterday and is sponsored by Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) in the House and Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) in the Senate. The proposal includes an eight-year pathway to citizenship for nearly 11 million undocumented immigrants, a shorter process to legal status for agriculture workers and DREAMERS, and an enforcement plan that includes deploying technology to patrol the border.
