How To Assess Your Performance As A Business Leader

One of the hardest things to do as a leader in your business is objectively asset your own performance.

Over the past few weeks, I have been engaging in an exercise where I ask myself this one critical question:
Is the person that showed up in my business last week the person that is going to get me closer to my goals this week?

👉 If the answer is YES – you need to identify what you are doing right – and do more of that
👉 If the answer is NO – then you need to consider what you can do to set yourself up for success

It is a difficult question to ask yourself.

And it takes a lot of courage to be objective.
So, when you ask yourself this critical question – remember to give yourself the same Grace that you would anybody on your team.

Stay solution-focused and remember…
As much as there is always a gap between where you are now and where you want to be, there is likely an even bigger gap between where you started your journey and where you are now.
