Episode 86: Revelation and references to the Old Testament - ‘keeping it together’

Any careful reader of New Testament texts will quickly notice how important the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) are in the New Testament. They form the backdrop of many of the ideas, moral commitments, religious beliefs, and at times doctrinal convictions that are expressed by authors of New Testament texts. This is not surprising since it was the Bible that they used (as members of the Hebrew and early Messianic faith). Today we look at references to the Old Testament in Revelation.
