In the first of five chapters, the story of Jackie the Ripper begins on the morning of August 31st. The body and testicles of Mark Alan Nichols are found behind Whitechapel tube station, but his penis? Nowhere to be found.


In the midst of a strike by the Metropolitan Police, Lead Detective Freddie Abberline of Scotland Yard reluctantly joins forces with his former department, The City of London Police, to crack this gruesome murder.
