The Canadian fighter entered the sport at a young age and quickly proved that he was a force to be reckoned with. This included winning the King of the Cage lightweight championship. His success continued when he moved up 170 and signed with the UFC. He was an exciting prospect that excelled anywhere the fight went. This lead to him becoming a top contender at welterweight. And although he fought for the title in a fight that many consider to be the greatest of all time, he was unable to capture the belt.
