El profesor Omar Requena se ha dedicado a trabajar por la inclusiรณn de las comunidades Mayas de Belize y Guatemala en el sistema escolar, en especial, de Jalactรฉ y Santa Cruz, poblaciones del sur de estos paรญses y, para ello, ha creado mรฉtodos educativos que motivan a los estudiantes -no solo a ejercitar su mente- sino tambiรฉn a construirse un mejor futuro para ellos y sus familias.
