Our docs are tired, hurt, angry and frustrated with the recent police killings of George Floyd, Ahmad Arbery, Breonna Taylor and Tony McDade. In this episode we discuss how systematic and institutional racism effects healthcare. We talk about the importance of unity and economics. We discuss the pertinence of influential people using their platforms to address this topic. We dissect the need for consistency within the movement in order to bring about change. We also delve into how traditional medicine holds inherent racial bias and how many organizations are pushing for a more inclusive model.
