“The Psychedelic Handbook with Dr. Rick Strassman” Episode 260 Today we sit down with Dr. Rick Strassman. Dr. Strassman is currently an American clinical adjunct associate professor of psychiatry at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. From 1990 to 1995, Dr. Strassman led a U.S. Government-approved and funded clinical research team at the University of New Mexico, studying the effects of N, N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) on human subjects in experimental conditions. Dr. Strassman is the president and co founder of the Cottonwood research institute. He is also the author of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, Inner Paths to outer space, DMT The soul of prophecy, Joseph Levy escapes death, and his new book The Psychedelic Handbook.
