PaintingLoft Podcast
In this episode we talk about 3 paintings of Edward Hopper's very early work that was copied from other artists. It could possible devalue some of his work. We have a follow up on the 46,000 year old cave used by indigenous Australians that was destroyed by an Iron ore company. In Spain, fingerprints were found on cave paintings and were determined to be both men and woman. Also because it's October we have a creepy story about how corpses move around after death. Other things we talked about were Drawloween, Inktober and other October art challenges, Gorgons, I was gifted a painting by Linnea Strid from Sweden, a bunch of Egyptian findings, a couple art crimes of people ripping other artists off, a local sign maker friend of mine that wasn't getting paid, cyber squatting, proud boys, how to repel snakes and more! The PaintingLoft Podcast is about the "Dark Art" community. Exhibitions, Artists, Techniques, Ideas, Scandals & Crimes and all the things worth talking about in the realm the two host participate in. Jessica Perner and Scott Holloway are both artists exhibiting their work globally in the field of art that doesn't truly have a title but is widely accepted as "Dark Art".
