133. Our Lady of Guadalupe Debunked
Urban legends claim that in 1531, Mary appeared to Juan Diego and imprinted a miraculous painting on his tilma cloak. Yet this story didn’t exist until 117 years after the event. It’s also known who did this supposed miraculous painting (and there’s nothing miraculous about it either).
