Pelvic PT Rising

Struggling with treating complex IC or pelvic pain patients? In this 'sode we dive into the five most important things to know about the condition.

Many practitioners struggle to treat patients with IC because of the misinformation surrounding the condition. We need to break through the noise in order to provide the highest level of care for patients. The five things?

  1. There's no "white knight" coming to save your patient - you are the white knight! (Also could be titled your patient's urologist probably doesn't know shit about shit about IC).
  2. IC is a chronic pelvic pain condition, not a bladder condition
  3. Pelvic PT is the #1 treatment option for IC (as stated by the American Urological Association)
  4. There is no "IC Diet", and we need to stop perpetuating that myth with our patients
  5. Think beyond the bladder....and the pelvic floor!
