It’s been one year since Canada shut down due to the COVID 19 pandemic. In that year there have been a host of challenges from a lack of PPE to a lagging vaccine rollout. But, lockdowns have posed an even greater challenge to those fleeing domestic violence.
This month we are focusing on what has become known as the ‘shadow pandemic.’
I spoke with Kaitlin Geiger-Bardswich of Women’s Shelter Canada to learn more.
