Recently, Global Affairs Canada released a new logo to brand its international aid and overseas development programmes. They claim that it will “raise awareness about Canada’s efforts to reduce poverty and build a more peaceful and prosperous world.” This move has drawn criticism from some, saying it sends the wrong message about aid.
