Alissa's read Tina Brown's The Palace Papers (Sally listened to the audio book) and now they are both Royal tragics... Alissa's also read The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller. Sal has read Holly Ringland's second novel The Seven Skins of Esther Wilding, as well as Maggie O'Farrell's The Marriage Portrait. Both highly recommended for different reasons. The girls have also been cooking - Sal's mum gave her A Year of Simple Family Food by Julia Busuttil Nishimura and has cooked the Summer recipes within it - the Slow-roasted Tomatoes with Mint and Mozzarella is a BBQ fav.
