Reminders for Your Bad Days - How to Get Through the Tough Moments

We all have bad days. We also have those moments we struggle to move forward from these experiences and would rather sink into a pit of despair. But I'm here to share with you 7 reminders that will help you avoid the self-sabotage tendencies & time spent dwelling on those bad moments & experiences.

Everyone has bad days. There is no debating that. And yeah, you can make the most of everything happening, focus on what you do have in life & everything you can be grateful for, but sometimes you just need to do more than that.

Life isn’t perfect and we all know this. But the fact that we all know this means we need to stop expecting it to be perfect, as well. You can’t know something to be true but still expect the opposite. It’s not logical. But we do it & it really only hurts yourself.

And the last thing you want to do on your bad days is make it worse for yourself & feel like you are sinking deeper into the hole of despair. And it can be really tough to come up with something encouraging in the moment of dealing with our bad days, which is why I wanted to talk about some good reminders to tuck into the back of your mind for the next time we have to deal with this inevitable experience.

But before we jump into my reminders, just know that the old phrase that life is 10% of what happens to you & 90% how you react to everything. This phrase is very true. Sometimes the easiest way to turn your day around is to not give life to your initial reaction. Take a breath & figure out what reaction would serve you best in that moment.
