Therapy is one of the best things ever, no matter what's going on in your life. But I do think by adding in a few other practices to double-down on the healing can be super helpful.
Most of us know therapy can be super helpful for so many things in our life. I am making it one of my missions in life to convince everyone that therapy is a totally normal thing to add into your life, no matter what’s going on in your life. But I do want you to know that there are other things you can do in addition to therapy.
And I want to make sure you know I am not suggesting these things to do instead of therapy, but in addition. Add it in between therapy sessions & whenever you need it because it’s that supplement to make your healing journey even better.
I also want to mention that sometimes when we are in therapy, we sometimes don’t feel like we are making much progress in what we are trying to heal, so by adding other things in & maybe seeing growth & progress a little sooner, you feel better about how you are moving along in your healing journey.
So today I want to share with you some ways to help you heal in addition to therapy:
- Spend Time Outside
- Have Routines
- Honor Your Needs
- Ask For Help
- Have Positive People In Your Life
- Practice Being Present
- Practice Accepting What’s Happening Around You
