In this episode, we spoke with Dr Simon Eccles, who is the Deputy CEO at NHSX and national NHS Chief Clinical Information Officer for Health and Care. We spoke about Simon's career journey to date which has led him to be a clinician who is dedicated to service transformation. We discuss the democratising of information in healthcare, and the future of quality improvement. We also discuss the question - is transformation in the NHS synonymous with improvement?
