She Is Legend
She Is Legend

Stella Young was described as a feminist, activist, comedian, and a fierce advocate against domestic violence and for equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ and disabled communities. She was a talented writer, who had an uncanny knack for being a thought leader on topics she was passionate about, through her wit and humour. She campaigned for the overhaul of the NDIS and was the Editor of ABC's Ramp Up blog. Her work lead to a spark of change in the way Australian society seeks to support and empower people with disabilities. She lived her life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and was a wheelchair user. She was strong, bold, fierce and 100% legendary.
