With the AFL and NRL back in full swing, in this episode Sam catches up with a legend of the NRL, Steve 'Blocker' Roach. Blocker was the country's leading prop during the late 1980s, playing 185 games for Balmain over 11 years, he ran out for Australia, and was an original Blues enforcer for State of Origin. Blocker has a fascinating life off the field, he's open about needing to see a psychiatrist after retirement, the damage done after many concussions, he has a wonderful marriage, three amazing sons and a new grand-daughter. Blocker is also seen as a mentor for many up and coming players and broadcasters in the changing face of the code.
