Chris Harrison is a Brighton-based street photographer and graphic designer. Chris spent four years at art college studying graphic design and photography, often bunking off to spend extra time in the dark room printing up his work. After art college he landed a job at the world’s biggest advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi, where, as a designer, he got to commission and work with some of London's best photographers. From the year 2000, while working as a graphic designer, backpacking around the globe and starting a family, Chris let photography fall by the wayside. But a trip to Arles in France in 2016 changed all that. Chris went to a photography exhibition and was immediately reminded why he’d fallen in love with photography all those years before. Chris now spends a lot of time photographing his home city of Brighton, which he describes as a "free-spirited, liberal place.” Chris’s work has been featured in various magazines and exhibitions, and he has been the winner of or a finalist in many street photography competitions, including Gothenburg Street Photo Festival, Brussels Street Photography Festival, Miami Street Photo Festival, Italian Street Photo Festival and Aussie Street Photography Festival. Don Stevie is a London-based “Street photographer”. His initial journey started when he had camera as a child which he used purely for fun. His photography came more to the fore in 2009 when he bought a little M8 digital camera. Interestingly, Steve doesn’t see himself as a photographer and merely carries his camera to shoot and capture the things he sees while out walking inner city London. His work is predominantly in colour, with a smattering of BNW images, that shows a keen eye for composition and a level of intricacy that has you going back to his images over and over again. He’s not shy in getting close to his subjects and is rather fond of using a flash to create movement and mystery within the images he creates. Melissa O’Shaughnessy was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she studied journalism and art history. She took up photography after working as a book editor. She now lives and works in New York City. Melissa’s work is full of colour, texture, movement. Her images capture a sense of calmness from the chaos that surrounds her on the streets.
