In 2016 55% of eligible voters cast a ballot in the Presidential elections. It was the lowest turnout in 20 years. Whether you agree that the outcome of that election was good or bad the mid-term election ON NOVEMBER 6th is one of the most important elections we will have. There are consequences when you do not vote. For some reason, Americans believe that the only important election is the Presidential election. The mid-term elections give Americans the right to vote for 435 members of the House of Representatives and members of the Senate. THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL VOTE FOR OUR QUALITY LIFE OF ISSUES. If you care about immigration, medicare, social security, climate change, educational opportunities, and women's rights it is imperative that you vote and bring 10 people with you to the polls.
