So here I am, walking down the road in Wellington talking to this fella  (between events at an gig), and I say, “what’s your thing Joe?” We Kiwis are often way too modest, but his response was out of bounds! Some of the trees that Joseph has been filming and digitising for his current artwork are located in the Brazilian Amazon near where New Zealand environmentalist Sir Peter Blake was brutally murdered - a story revisited in the newly-released feature film (2021).
